Troubleshooting

You may see an Access Denied message because you're using a new device (eg. new phone). If this is the case and you still have access to your old phone or an existing device with the Cammy app (eg. a tablet):

  1. Open the Cammy app on your old device or another existing device with the app
  2. Tap the 'Settings' icon settings icon for the affected camera
  3. Tap on 'Support Tools'
  4. Tap 'View camera credentials'
  5. Write down the username and password of the camera (remember to be case sensitive)
  6. Grab your new phone or device and open the Cammy app
  7. Tap the 'Settings' icon settings icon for the affected camera
  8. Tap on 'Support Tools'
  9. Tap verify log in
  10. Please enter what you had written down (username and password of the camera)

If you are being denied access but don't have a new device:

  1. Open the Cammy app on your phone
  2. Tap the 'Settings' icon settings icon for the affected camera
  3. Tap on 'Support Tools'
  4. Tap 'View camera credentials' (if there are no camera credentials, you will need to factory reset the camera)
  5. Write down the username and password of the camera (remember to be case sensitive)
  6. Go back to the Support Tools page by tapping the back arrow in the top left corner of the app
  7. Tap verify log in
  8. Please enter what you had written down (username and password of the camera)
