Before you start:

  • Please ensure your mobile phone is connected to the same internet as your camera(s)
  • Please ensure you are connecting on to a 2.4GHz WiFi as opposed to a 5GHz WiFi if you have a dual-band router
  • Please make sure you are being case sensitive when entering your WiFi password when re-adding your camera
  • Please ensure you connect the camera to power
  • Please ensure you connect the camera to your router via an ethernet cable

Check you have the correct password for your new Wi-Fi network (you can skip this step if you have the correct case sensitive password written down):

  1. Open the WiFi settings on your phone
  2. Tap on the network you are connected to
  3. Select Forget this network
  4. Connect back to the same network
  5. Write down the password

Retry Auto Setup:

  1. Open the Cammy app and tap 'Settings' of the camera you need to set up
  2. Tap on 'Retry Auto Setup' at the bottom of the page
  3. Check your WiFi name and password are correct then tap 'Continue'
  4. Name the camera

To check if the camera is working:

  1. Go back to the Cameras page of the app by tapping the back arrow in the top left corner
  2. Tap on 'Live View' underneath the camera you just configured
  3. Move your hands in front of the camera to check the stream is live
  4. Close Live View
  5. Remove the ethernet cable from the camera
  6. Wait 60 seconds and do another Live View test
